Red Fin Cider Wins International Cider Challenge Award

Red Fin Fresh Apple has won a Silver medal at the International Cider Challenge 2025, putting our modern British cider among the award winners at one of the world’s leading international cider competitions.

It’s a result we’re pretty pleased with.

What is the International Cider Challenge?

The International Cider Challenge (ICC) is an annual competition that brings together ciders from producers around the world, with entries judged by a specialist panel of cider experts.

For 2025, the competition included ciders from 16 countries, with Red Fin Fresh Apple receiving a Silver medal.

For us, it’s independent recognition that what’s inside the bottle stands up on flavour and quality — which matters rather more than simply telling you ourselves that it’s good.

An award-winning modern British cider

Red Fin Fresh Apple is made with 100% apple juice from apples grown and pressed in Somerset.

We set out to make a cider that feels a little different from what people might traditionally expect from the category: crisp, refreshing and flavour-led, with plenty of fresh apple character.

No need to overcomplicate it. It’s good British cider, made for modern drinkers and best served chilled out.

And now it has a Silver medal to prove it.

Why the award matters to us

Red Fin started with the idea that cider could be sharper, brighter and built for now, while still starting with the thing that matters most: good apples.

Winning Silver at the International Cider Challenge is a pretty good sign that we're heading in the right direction.

So, thanks to the ICC judges and everyone who has picked up, poured or recommended a bottle of Red Fin so far.
